Campus Room Use System (CRUS)
The Campus Room Use System (CRUS) is a web-based database system created using SQL. It was designed by the School of Computer Science at FIU, in collaboration with ASM.
CRUS was created to provide a user friendly interface for accessing an accurate account
of all space within the University and how that space is utilized and by whom.
This system is geared towards improving the University Space File and the way we obtain access and utilize space data.
CRUS is updated on a continuous basis by our staff with building and room use information, in an effort to maintain the most correct space information possible.
The CRUS web-based database system will eventually be replaced with our newest space management software from FAMIS. See SIS for information and the latest updates on this exciting endeavor.
